Prof. PhD Jouni Paavola

Professor of Environmental Social Science

Jouni Paavola is Director of the ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (CCCEP) and Director of Postgraduate Research Studies in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Leeds. His research examines environmental governance institutions and their environmental, economic and social justice implications, with a focus on climate change and biodiversity. He is member of the Scientific Committee of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and editorial boards of Ecological Economics and Environmental Policy and Governance.
