The purpose of the Workshop on Social Research @PIK is to put a spotlight on the social sciences at PIK and thereby facilitate a more intense exchange among social scientists and researchers interested in the challenges and opportunities of assessing climate impacts through social science. We further envision this exchange to stimulate better integration of the social sciences in the PIK's modeling and research strategy.<https://www.pnas.org/content/early/2020/01/14/1900577117>. The PIK Directors have kindly supported these efforts and agreed to run the Social Research Workshop for one year, to be continued if deemed successful. Our organizing group is relatively small, and we happily invite others to join our little team.
The organizing group:
Mechthild Becker, Ilona M. Otto, Detlef Sprinz, Stefanie Wesch
